iRangeX USB

After seeing painless 360 video of the iRangeX USB adaptor I thought I'd risk trying it out. I only have turnigy9x - no taranis  :-[ I was hopeful that I'd be able to connect to my Mac to run freerider or other quadcopter sims.

It doesn't work out of the box, just wondering if any of the techy guys here might have any suggestions on how it might work on OS X?

If not I'll probably put it in the classifieds here  :P
