Evening
Does anyone own one of the above? Seems to be a great little monitor but AV in doesn't seem to work. I know there is signal coming through the cable because my eachine displays the feed from the 1.2 partmon without issue. I've tried other cables with the skyzone but still no joy. Does anyone have any ideas please? Or common mistakes in mind?

The monitor suoports pal and NTSC and is set to auto detect 4:3 or 16:9.

It's this one https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?2669940-Skyzone-HD02-40CH-FPV-Monitor

Not all av cables are the same pin out mate
Might be worth googling the pinout on your monitor and making your own cable

I've used the included cable though. But I'll do some further digging. Thanks BN

Well I've had the monitor apart. Nothing seems out of place.

The included cable is a 4 pole 3.5mm jack but I'm only arsed about video. I've tried the yellow, red  and white of the included cable connected to the 1.2 RX but still no joy getting a picture to come out of the av in of the monitor.

How can I figure out which is ground and signal of the av input of the monitor please?

The av in is the bottom one of the row of 4.

Thanks

Sorry for delayed response, I was pretty sure I had an HD02 monitor, but it has no markings/model details on, but I checked my ebay confirmation and its the Skyzone HD02 with HDMI and DVR.

The video cable I am using for AV In is a TRRS with ground on S and video on R2, I've attached pics to make this clear.

Its a bit awkward to change input/source, I seem to randomly hit M and play and get there in the end but I'm never quite sure how, I only use it from time to time so switch between HDMI for the P3 and AV for my 5.8g aomway PVR receiver (which seems to get a better recording quality than the HD02).

Hope this helps, if I can do anything else to test/check for you let me know.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Appreciated. I have noticed that included cable does not fit flush to the casing when inserted but other cables do. But these cables may not be wired as they should be. I'll have another play tomorrow and may so back a couple of cables and try to nail the problem. It may be the socket is screwed.

Thanks again for the great info. Many thanks

The cable I'm using is tight to plug in, but does go in all the way with a bit of encouragement, its a very distinctive 90deg plug on a 'flat' cable as shown above.

Yep, I have the same cable. It was included with the monitor. When I plug it in its probably about 3mm from being flush against the casing of the monitor. I didn't want to apply too much pressure just in case I did it damage. But I'll be a bit more persuasive seeing as you've said it's a tight fit.

Karma given for the time you've taken and the photos. Thank you

Thanks again
