I didn't know that feature existed, but now that I know it did and they removed it I'm annoyed... :)

Ive just printed billyd's nose cam mount - it looks awesome! Exactly what im looking for.

Unfortunately my Runcam Eagle doesn't quite fit in - the lens is 18mm wide - ive asked him if he can do
a modified version.

It's all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense...

Nice one, so is that the 'pushy in from the inside' version rather than the bolt on one?

Think I'll give it a go as well. How are you patching up the cutout you made already?

pk-surfing

Painted and elevons laminated and hinged to wings.

Can't decide what to do with the nose though... running out of time cos I want to fly it this weekend

Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days lived

I got some time tonight to try and configure iNav, got most of it done and have got the OSD working now. Also got the servo linkages attached. It's such an awesome looking thing, can't wait to get it in the air!

I've printed the enclosed nose as well and think I'll go with that. I'm away for the weekend though so won't get it finished until next week! Hopefully the weather will hold!

Yea -push in from inside - your Z3 nose works for me like that.

I will hack off that 1st printed nose & hope for the best!

Great to see some builds taking shape!  Mine is on hold for a week or two, we are having a new kitchen fitted next week, and I've been instructed to be in full on project manager mode :(  I'm itching to get started, so I'm secretly planning a stupidly early morning on Saturday in the workshop ;)

By the way, if anyone is thinking "I fancy one of those", I've still got two kits available!

Boring 'mono-chrome' look for me...

The black Plastidip went down well after I roughed up the foam.

Just gotta hack that ugly nose off & replace with a better design.
