Hi guys this is my first post on here so thanks to all who stop by to look at it.

I'm doing my first 200 size quad build and stupidly rather than following a YouTube step by step video I bought a flight controller that iv been unable to find a build video for.

My main concern is that there is no solder pad on the fc for the esc signal ground wire, and the speedix Es 30 hv esc that I bought have them.

Is this because it is an all in one pdb/fc that it does not need the signal ground as the esc's are already grounded on the same board, therefore should I just de solder the ground from the esc

Thanks for any help
Pete.

Generally, so long as all your grounds are tied back to the same point then that is all you need to do.

I just had a similar issue with another make of board. I just soldered the signal to the sig pad and the ground to a common ground. I then desoldered the grounds and it made no difference. My thought was that if I was wiring a servo to a controller the feed and ground are independent to the signal. If I was you and if there was an easy common ground I would solder to it. If not then would not bother.
