Hi All, I need some advice on settings for the Vonista VCR please.  This is a UK supplied unit from firstpersonview. This is a replacement for the original which was DOA.  As far as I can make out I am setting this up as Video Quality High, Resolution has been tried at 720x576 and 720 x 480, Frame Rate at 30, video output has been tried as NTSC and  PAL. However as you will see on the clip I have a band across the bottom of the recording.  This is recorded as an output from the Fatshark Doms. Any ideas why would be much appreciated.

That's a video sync issue. Its not a band so much as the top of the screen is showing at the bottom.
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

So is this a camera  ( which is runcam swift2 NTSC) or vtx issue? Picture is good on the Doms and monitor. Recording from another PAL camera and vtx set up without changes in DVD menu. is good. The image in the goggles is OK with the whole picture.

Would that not be a NTSC PAL issue then if you are sending a NTSC signal to a PAL monitor ?

Why are you using NTSC camera with PAL equipment ?

Mr Stupid ordered the wrong camera format. It's perfect in the goggles but that's cos the fatsharks auto change I was told. Thing is it's also good on the monitor with the built in vrx
