Another day another micro quad is released - this one came for review from Gearbest (so don't forget to be skeptical and seek other opinions).  As per usual (and it's weird to say that, but that's the way it's going on micros) we're looking at a stacked set of all-in-one ESC board, Omnibus F3 FC, and this came with a FrSky compatible RX (i.e expect reduced range vs the real thing) and an AIO VTX/Camera combo with a linear dipole antenna.  Props are Gemfan 2035's (which are awesome on micros).  Motors are 1104-7500kv and it runs on a 2s

I liked the way it didn't explode or go horrible wrong when I flew it - as is often the case with these RTF micros.  Although as it turned out the tune out of the box had a pretty intense roll rate.  An RC rate of 1.10 and a superrate of 0.85 meant it was blisteringly quick in the roll (I knocked that back down) but the rest of the PID tune felt good.  Here's the normal video

If there's one issue with the micro quads now is that with so many appearing - how does one decide which one is best for them.  This is a great quad, but doesn't really do anything the Aurora100 did that I looked at 6 months or so ago.  This is slightly more refined in it's setup - and feels perhaps even more agile, but isn't a massive step up.

Just a bit of an afterthought really - I would say choose a quad with a RunCam Micro swift and a proper rx already installed, but right now you pay a premium for these quads.  Meantime at least there's quite a few really nice flying RTF micros to choose from.
