I was super-excited to get this little quad into test, on paper - it literally looks like the "Best-thing-eva !!".  7500kv motors that support a 3s, Gemfan 2035's in the box, a RunCam Micro swift pre-installed and even a FrSky XM+.  It looked perfect, but it didn't quite live up to my expectations.

! No longer available

What a pain eh, so much power but you just can't get access to it - whether it be the motor oscillations or the fact you can't angle the camera up enough.  Obviously I'll be trying to fix both these issues, but it does seem that these get rolled out of the factory without enough testing to pick up any issues.

This was supplied for review by Gearbest - my opinions are my own, but I would encourage you to seek out other reviews if you feel mine might be biased.

Tantalizingly close to perfection :)
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

Interesting, worth noting it can be ordered with a choice of 4 rx, Futaba, FrSky, Spektrum and FlySky and the camera is NTSC only. Looking at the still photos on the SPC web site there is a cut out on the top frame around the camera lens so would it be possible to crank the camera angle up at all?

It doesn't seem possible, the posts are the problem here.  With apologies for the bad pictures I just tried snapping, the camera is fixed in with bits at the front and back of the camera.

One in the front here - but you'll also see that the front orange part of the camera is up against the posts

.. and another wedge behind - you'll also see how the connector is bumped up pretty much onto the flight controller

So even if we removed the wedges, we don't' have the space to tilt up because of the flight controller, and we can't move the camera forward to give us room to tilt up because of the posts being in the way.

I've seen printed solution for getting more of an angle which involves removing those front posts and using the printed mount as part of the reinforcement https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2507873

Personally Id be tempted to mod the camera by removing the hoofing girt connector and soldering direct to the board.....Looks possible from your pics :)

Just dremel a bit of the FC away.  It'll be fine.

I had a similar problem with a Runcam Micro on another micro-quad and I just trimmed/filed away some of that orange plastic on the bottom left corner of the camera as you look at Wayne's photo, there's a good few mm there before you get to the mounting screw in there and that got me plenty more angle. As you can see, I just used a blob of hot glue to hold the camera in place.
