I use the Lawmate as shown in your link....I got mine from Goodluckbuy too...It's nice and small and has the filters built in, but it doesn't have as many channels as the RMRC one.

Not the cheapest VRX but I get a great image and DVR recording from it.

I had a few issues with Lawmate, not so much their receivers but more the transmitters so went with the Rmrc gear. I've had no problems with that receiver.
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

That Lawmate webpage is a bit potty...
1000mW 8CH Receiver VRX?
'Features' details Video and Audio Inputs.
'Specification' details video and Audio Outputs?

I'm confused...Am I going potty?

I had to make the same decision some time ago and gone with the RMRC, never regretted so far

I've been using a Lawmate for the last few years and its been great. I can't imagine there's much difference in it.

I also have a few of these laying around: https://www.banggood.com/FPV-1_2G-8CH-800mw-Wireless-AV-Transmitter-And-Receiver-p-73201.html?rmmds=search&cur_warehouse=CN

Has anyone tried them? I only buy them for the Vtx

In started with the kit on your banggood link. Went out 15k without issue. I then bought the RMRC vtx and didn't see any improvement! #snakeoil?!

Absolutely not Adam. I use the 2 RMRC with eagleeyes for diversity on my GS for my talon (using the same Partom (banggood) vrx on the talon), for no other reason that I paid through the nose for the RMRC vrx's. The Partom vrx's and a spare Partom 800mw vtx that I have spare I use for my trx-4 RC car for fpv.

Just a point to note. On both Partom banggood kits I've always tested the ducky antennas. And on both sets 1 antenna has had a vswr reading of 1.2 and the other hasnt even registered. But I make my own dipoles anyway. In a nutshell, don't trust the included antennas with the banggood kits. But from what I remember you fly with skews anyway. So yeh, I rate the banggood Partom kits.

Just a side note. I've had my RC car out to 700m on the ground with the "cheap" 1.2ghz kit and Ducky's. I've not even started testing yet with a big patch on the cheap vrx.

Adam,

Since you already have the 1.2G Lawmate VRX like me, I buy my 1.2G VTXs from Surveilzone, the 800mw vtx is about £33 and the small 200mw version is about £20.
They also offer a 400mw, 800mw is rather a lot IMO.

Surveilzone have always been good with a fast delivery time, used them a lot, have also had Cameras from them.

Awesome thanks for that! I prefer the 400mw and only got the 800 because it's too expensive at RMRC with shipping and import tax.

The eagleeyes is great. I only use it for diversity, not tracking. I've got the cheap 800mw vtx. No issues.
