Somehow I managed to rip my rx antenna (Flysky x6b) out of its ipex connector!! Oops. That will teach me to try and get through my gates

So I need a new antenna for the rx. I have seen lots on ebay that have the ipex connector and are 150mm long which will enable me to position them on the arms.

The question is some of the antennas seem to have a 'copper tube' just below the whip (making a dipole? They are suggesting that the gain is 3db.

So is a straight monopole (same as original) antenna or a dipole one better for rx?

The mono pole has a more spherical pattern to it where the dipole is more flat. The dipole will give longer range than the mono.
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)
