Refurbed session 5?

Just wondering if Anyone has tried a refurbished session 5 that's for sale on EBay.

Just noticed that today, popping up for £210 it's a bargain ! I have had previous model factory refurbs and never had any issues.

It was the Hero 5 not the session I was on about, my bad.

Apparently if you get a GoPro Hero (the base model) 2018 version it's just a firmware hobbled Hero 5, identical hardware and you can flash it with the firmware to get all the features.

Ugh - it's like the equivalent of DJI and the Naza Lite / Naza V2 debacle ... pretty sneaky really, I'd be pissed if I'd paid the premium for the Hero 5.

Not really, the 5 is not a current model, the basic Hero from the that year's lineup was a different camera.  They're just using the previous range topping hardware for the current entry level camera.

Yes Steve.  Your link was the one I was looking at.  Feel like I should buy a back up before they disappear forever since I've smashed my Lcd display on mine.
