Open Source FC system for multirotors

I was super impressed with the Mavic Pro/Air system demoed to me by Rob "Skyhook" and CurryKitten the other day. Touching the screen to position the drone or tell it to do "things" like orbit or follow.

Are there any active open source projects trying to offer some/all of the features to match DJIs offering?
