I'm going to try 2.4 video for longer range, open air plank flying. Probably using a FuriousFPV vtx and the Quanum 2.4 div rx, but I have no idea what antennae's to use on either end. Patch, yaggi, clover, dipole, circular or linear polarisation??

Clovers are the best for general flying/driving. Because they cover all around you.

English Turbines

Dipole on the plane, a pair of vertically polarised Patches on the diversity receiver.  You could use the RD that comes with the VTX..?  They work well for me, even on 5.8G. Most people throw them away...lol.

If you want to fly range, a pair of angled out Linear Patch antennas will give you a wide beam to fly in.
