A recent trip out on a rare calm morning with the Z84.  The low sun made the video a bit muddy and the moisture played havoc with the video too. Despite this, I managed to push it out a bit further even using just a 1300mah 3S.
If it's windy, it really makes it difficult to make headway upwind with this little bird, but it's a lot of fun when its calm.
DVR was recorded on the Eachine Pro at the Monitor.

Apologies, no Audio and it's a bit long...

  ! No longer available

Nothing beats the smell of Jet-A at 800 Celsius...:)

Congrats on the PB :)

The video really was struggling a bit, I thought you were a 1.2GHz guy ?
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

  Hi Ian,
I have a tiny XM Plus on the wingtip, I dont think it would play nice with a 1280mhz vtx TBH, its a very sensitive receiver which is why it has such range I think.
It's a tiny model, and even my 4 Channel UHF RX is a bit too big for it TBH...I was toying with putting the R9MM in it but on a warm dry day, and 2 Patch antennas, the 5.8G video link is more solid for sure.
Thats said, I prefer 1280mh as its just more consistent and less vulnerable to atmospheric conditions.

Good to see you out of the Captains seat and back in the FPV saddle mate.....:)

There is a EzUHF Nano receiver available, the clone from Russia off ebay is even smaller. And there is a very small 1G2 600mW vtx available

  Hi m8,
Yeah, my Z84 is limited in the battery department, its good for 12 kms duration on its 1300 mah 3S so the XM Plus is fine really and the Boscam 600mw vtx is also pretty good when conditions are dry enough.
Do you still have the last Skyfun in the Northern Hemisphere...?
lol...I still have mine...:)

You can stuff the Z84 with 7000mAh 3S Li-Ion battery or 6S 1800mAh, its a very versatile plane.
Yes, still have the Skyfun, hanging on the wall, dont want to harm it :D
