Reaching out to anyone that can help, my printers just stopped half way through a print with NA displayed on the extruder temp, no problem, thermocouple fail.

I swapped it over for another  but it can't be genuine. powered it back up and the coupler got that hot it started melting the plastic. I had bout what I was lead to believe were the correct ones ( because the CTC Bizer is for some stupid reason all 24v not 12v ) but looking at what happened they aren't.

Dies anyone have a UK supplier link to genuine compatible ones I can get.

Cheers

No neither are genuine ones Paul.

Turns out that's the least of my worries, its took out a chip on the motherboard and fried the main power connection :(

Now unsure, apparently any K type will work, but it was a K type I plugged in last night that burned up.

Was it the thermocouple or the board ?

Was the replacement couple faulty ?

The previous thermocouple didn't seem to burn up. So when I get the replacement board, I'm not sure I want to plug one in "to find out"
