Hi there people and friends alike. Before I continue with this topic it will probably be moved to some were else but to be honest not sure what cat it belongs too?. I will attempt to try and explain this brain teaser the best and simply as possible in the hope someone out there can help?. Right tx is a futaba t8fg super im running it with dragonlink v2 tx & micro rx  FC is mfd with ppm output on ch7 on the dl rx!. I have read that the t8fg only outputs 8 ch ppm not 12! really not a 100% on that though? but anyway when ian (coyote) did a great job for me all those years ago on installing the (FC) and getting it ready for its madian which was flawless, the only wires coming into the rx was ppm ch7 and rssi ch8. he also used ch6 on the rx for the pan but i was always having to reboot the plane several times to get it to fire up, also the pan servo would not center so decided to unplug the pan from ch6 on the rx! Bingo  it fires up every time now no problem .so now ive ordered a cxn pan and tilt system and would like to try and set it up? if i use ch 1 aileron for pan & ch2 elevator for tilt how would i assign or remap this to work through the DL gui?  Or maybe it cant be done.? If anyone out there can help would be great? regards trevor (hellsbells1)

How to get more channels out of the T8FG

Once you have got that working let us know. That gets you an extra 4 channels for pan tilt etc, then you can map them to rx outputs on the dragonlink receiver gui
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

Hi ian first off thanks for the reply my mate! I have seen this video a few times Ian!  when we done the setup together back then the radio was setup in (multi 2) mode already, when i look at servo channels in the radio when i switch ch6  which is my (stb) setting ch 11 &12 move in the radio?.aswell as ch6. Also in the (GUI) it is set to 8ch ppm not 12?. Ive read that you have to set the gui to 12 ch ppm  then choose any of the six remaining channels to plug in pan servo then save settings  and reboot in the gui?. But my main concern here  is loseing all my settings in the plane and completly throwing everything out! and having to start over again! which these days  i dont have alot of time for. because of other commitments! originally the pan servo was plugged into ch6 which is my (stb) mode in the reciever  but for some reason i was having to keep rebooting the plane which i couldnt understand and as  the servo wouldnt center correctly I simply unplugged it in the end and the plane fires up everytime now no probs. Ive tried plugging the pan into ch 1 on the reciever and the plane fires up no probs and tried mapping ch 9 for instance to ch1 and assign a slider for pan! but in the radio when i move slider ch1 and ch9 move together?
