EzUHF questions

I was only looking into using UHF outside of the UK. For my use, 35MHz is fine for the UK.

How does the RMILEC compare to the ezUHF? If I see this correctly, thats a Foxtech UHF system, rigfht?

I noticed that the Foxtech site says "Hardware frequency Range 400MHz to 470MHz" but two channels: 415 and 433 MHz, shame they don't have a third channel at 459MHz.

I know this is a very old topic but, will the performance of the rmilec UHF be reduced due to the interference/other transmissions here in the UK?

When pu flash this to 459 does it also automatically reduce the output to 100mw also, keeping it legal in the uk, or could in theory you have it on 459 but still transmitting ata higherpower setting?

Im sure that I saw ssassen mention that on the UK firmware the power switch has no effect.
Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Anthony told me that it does have an effect.  About 80mW in Low and 100mW in high from memory.

Hypothetically, what sort of line of sight range, would be expected from a 100mW ezUHF system operating on 459MHz?  I'm looking into the possibility of going a bit further out than a 2.4GHz link (Jeti) can go at the moment.....

Question on the EZUHF 4ch Tx, I received mine this morning but cant find the firmware for the UK band, I've downloaded all the firmware from the immersion site and have done the tx and my 8ch rx to the UK firmware but there doesn't seem to be a 4ch firmware, anyone know where to get the 4ch firmware??

the firmware package has the 4ch.fw and 4ch_5-8.fw but no UK version all other firmwares for tx & rx's have UK specific ones with appropriate firmware with xxxUK.fw but nothing for 4ch??
