as long as you can prove there's no throttle and you don't go over 400ft, it don't mater if your flying a bin.

I used to have a 12ft (or was it 10ft ?) span Keil Kraft Elmira on 2 channel radio...... wish I had it now to stick some FPV gear in cos it would float around for ever off the slope or towline (no motor)

Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days lived

Sorry but I am thinking negative. How accurate are some OSDs? Mine is out a bit on hight. So that could be an advantage for me. ;D
We did something similar on a Easystar thread. With a motor run for 30 seconds and a glide/thermal time.
With high KV motors you can get quite a bit of hight in 30 seconds.
After I did a 40 minute glide and entered that... The competition seemed to fade away. :P

Pasty

its a bit of fun not the olympics ;)

With all of this talk of "mines bigger than yours", surely it also depends on the wind speed.  Maintaining altitude has got to be "easier" in a strong headwind...?

No mate. It's all about the skill of finding thermals and staying in them.

It took me a while to catch on... So how will they help you to keep it up? :-X

Okay guys, now that I'm officially FPV I have decided to rouse this den of sleepers!

Did mine FPV except for the last 3 seconds when I was sure I'd land into myself / daughter. There was bugger all wind today... nada!

Come on guys, don't let this n00b be champion on such a crap time :)

Good start to get the ball rolling, cant help thinking the slope soaring pilots will win this one but Ill give it a bash :)
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

Flyboysee

Thanks Aitch, I was doing it FPV, so lots happening and I never paid attention most of the time, just caught up in the action and trying to stay in my field. I expect this to be smashed by the weekend - mine was a dropping stone, but just thought I'd get the ball rolling. Will revisit.
