Bixler FPV Build

I know it needs some colour, got some paint today, got a blank canvas to play with:) painted the top half of the nose matt black, to aid the fpv cam. is now drying. no pic yet.

got my pan and tilt and cased gopro mounts from G also so been sorting them out still waiting for servos, cheers mukka
anyways as it is so far.

marcin you made a wise choice, as they are good bang for buck with plenty of room on board,
with a few carbon rods/tubes installed its a nice rigid fame for fpv.

Well i could not get orange paint any ware so i went with red, "Plasti-kote Fast Dry Enamel" so i will most probably make new ducts and colour accordingly.
anyway got some paint on the topside last night.
bit of masking work.


not to bad a few paint bleeds but all in all happy with it.

very nice build nicely presented,  i fitted a blasa wood skid to the underside of my easystar build it protects your fus from bangs a dents it will help you keep the new look longer too :D

word of advice they were 1" square, took a long time to-do so wouldn't recommend going smaller. but is a good look for minimal fuss i suppose, little time and effort

ah yes, where does it stop. i have learned it don't stay shiny for long, build it take pics and then put a few scratches on it only then you will have tidy fun and not afraid to trash it :).

remember a guy use to to go racing with bought a brand new bike to the track just bought it en route took the warning stickers off it track side, took a few pics of it everyone was in ore, walked up to it and kicked it off the paddock stand, with a grin saying NOW its a race bike.

Got some paint on the underside of the bixler today just about as i finished spraying it started to rain so had to gather all the bits and run in the house, few spots but ok. looks black but is a dark blue.
