It's a little ironic that the horse riders seemed to be spooking the ponys and cattle, whereas when we launched any craft all that happened was the cows got inquisitive and wandered over not freaked out in the slightest.

Anyway, thems the rules, whether we like them of not I suppose.

Great to meet up with you all today!

Lots of advice and plenty of things to talk about - oh and some great flights. I look forward to the next meet.

Here are a few still pictures that I took from my Naza Quad

Great to meet everyone, and I had some nice flights.  I'll sort some video out later, but I also took a few quick snaps with my phone, just trying to get the line up of models.  First up is the intial bunch of us

Them we have I think just about everyone that came in shot

... and here's the ranger riding shot-gun as Jim takes him up in a quad

Real shame about Stoney, the field in Cross Lane was ok, but just felt a little hemmed in.  To be fair, the ranger himself didn't have an issue, and understood very quickly the potential uses of FPV.  Quite what the problem with the horseriders was I don't know - I think the girl just fell off and looked around for someone to blame... anyone other than herself

That was Simon looking at me looking at him  :D, Great pics Simon & curry!!. Sorry if I didnt get a chance to chat to everyone for any length of time but I just seemed to be running round lol and charging :), but was great to meet you all and put faces to names, many names!! was a great turnout!!

Ok so im going to sort a field for the next one where we can stay all day in one spot!, and we can get into it a bit better, but on the whole an excellent day.

And I think the Ranger is now  a Naza convert after I took him for a spin up and down the runway and surroundings!!

Cheers all,

Jim.

yeah,  was a brilliant day.
Was good to meet everyone.

Repaircosts are around 25£ for parts (yay for Alex) and a good opportunity to make some design changes.
