Hi all

"Ok here is a taster of something I will be reviewing soon" See attachment at the bottom

I'd just like to know every thing that you think or know about these machines also include all your preconceived ideas and hearsay, dislikes, likes blah blah that you may have. Although I have never owned one I do fly helis' and it will be interesting to compare the two with FPV in mind. This will be an FPV focused review.

To be reviewed with the Bi-rotor.

EzOSD

Ez-itelemetry tracking antenna

RVOSD

Helicommand

K171

DX201

RV 12V step down power reg.

Other cameras that I can get a hold of.

I can't reveal the manufacturer as yet so please bear with me; I will also be the UK point of contact and agent.

Are we talking pivoting motors here ? Or Swash type arrangement ?

If its pivoting motors they can catch you out in the transition taking off. Looks very interesting, need more info :)
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

Hi Coyote

"just modded the post to point to the attachment" it is a 2 motor job and its' max payload is 3lb with the largest lipos so good prospects for all kinds of cameras "HD"

Coyote

Ah right i see :)

Thats an impressive load carrying platform. Its hard to have an opinion so far as to how it will perform, im thinking fully loaded up pretty docile which for hd gopro use would be terrific nice smooth filming.

Is all the kit your testing going to be tested on this ?

All that kit will be tested on this baby, as I post this the review model is being manufactured. I should have it in 3 weeks!

Im interested on how heli commands going to process the x y z axis and control the motors instead of finely adjusting servos. That i wait for watching with great interest.

Seems a strange list for just one supplier unless theres a new FPV Uk supplier coming soon as the kit issnt just limited to one type of sales.

The bits and bobs that I'm testing are already in the workshop they are not part of the Bi-rotor.

Ah one of those jobbies.  Interesting concept that one.  Been looking at it a bit via RCG Aerial Photography.  Is it you doing the build thread on RCG?

Can't get my head around the steering mechanisms etc - be interesting to see how you get on.

Coyote

Are you doing a build thread on there and not here ?????

TerrorTrooper

looks like an impressive bit of kit!

It must be pretty big for a 3KG load capacity!

the build on RCgroups is not me, this site is far more important so the build will be right here. I must say though I have a full diary for the next few months and I hope this won't slow things down too much.

This machine will be for "close quater combat" flying in and out of trees, fields drive by missions where gliding is not possible. The endurance should be more than enough on say 4-5000mAh, my EGpro only came in at 1100gm "see what I mean"

:) Great answer ! lol

Hopefully you can wangle enough to steadily get through it. When is this all going to begin ?
