On my personal ZII, I use a Waypoint W-E3014-16 motor with a 40 amp ESC, separate Ubec and X2 3000mah 3 sell lipos.
its not a super sonic speedster, but flies really well and gives me good long flights

9x4? That's a bit low for 4s isn't it? How many amps does it pull, have you tried a 9x6 mate?

on a 9x4 i pull 510 watts (thats fine) on a 9x6 i pull just over 600, motor is rated at 500watts, my problem since upgrading to 4 cell is launch is almost impossible unless windy, and apart from 2 blown 50amp esc's, ive lost so much duration, and tbh im only looking at flight duration.
tbh im considering 4 x 4500mah 3 cells, but only an idea at the min.
Im more concerned at the minute to just get flying again, i seem to be spending more time with a soldering iron in my hand lol

On 4s you need a 9x6-9x7.5 prop, 1100-1300kv motor, 60-70a esc & it'll get away perfectly every time in zero wind.

Its is bud, I just need to get out there and fly the thing more, just seem to have to much to do home on the man cave, or the weather isn't right.
