Well I should have been a plastic surgeon looking at my craft knife skills so far.

I have managed to slice out a space for my 2.2 Turnigy 3 cell lipos inside the back of the cockpit under the wing. I can slide them in their without fear of them moving around as the space is nice and tight. Have also pre-thought about my CG as well with this mod. I have also made a channel through the centre of the fuselage to feed through the servo extenders to the receiver which I am installing to the side and under the motor. Again I have sliced out a nice square shape so the receiver can slot in but can also be removed should I need to do another scan or add servos for the ailerons.

I am trying to think about eventualities such as replacing the motor, receiver, esc, etc etc ... without having to destroy half the plane trying to get them. The esc will be mounted on top of the plane and I have soldered bullet connectors to all wires on either end so it can removed it need be and to also allow it to cool down as it gets quite hot with the motor at full chat.

I guess it would be easier to take a photo and show you but I want to make a bit more progress on the project first.

Could anyone recommend what glue would be best used to adhere the inrunner motor to the polystyrene motor housing on the Easystar? Would UHU Por be enough or do I need to use something more specialist to glue metal to polystyrene?

Cheers.

You can use a variety of glues, UHU Por could be used but i find UHU Power better, post some piccys up lets have a look at the build :)
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)
