Thanks for posting this up Carlos. I'm really impressed with the size of it and belly holding capacity. Yours looks pretty neat too!

Yeh there is bags of room and gives you a few options of what batteries to use aswell, im going with 4 2200 3s in parallel for now and see how i go, im getting about 25mins run time and using about 2000ma and thats on the power alot, so cruising around i should get a good 30 min out of 1 battery  ;D . hopefully get some video of this snow this weekend because its heading my way  :D . thanks for the comments . theres a short vid on youtube if ya fancy having a look ,cheers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=or6-5TKVo04

Zeeflyboy

I must admit I'm getting increasingly tempted to p-p-p-pick up a penguin.

FPVSteve

I'm very very tempted myself seeing that picture - loads of room to do a really nice setup like Coyotes X8 with ply and proper connections instead of tangled wires :D

Dizzy

Steve, Zeeflyboy, I i don,t think there is much better value out there tbh, the finish is nice the tail boom is pretty indestructable ( ill prob be proved wrong on that later comment) and it looks like she will carry anything you will ever need for fpv.

There is a undercamber on the wing which is why she glides so well i suspect.

Carloss84 have you tried a ground take off yet? i,m going to beef up the wheel axle assembly i don,t think it will take many heavy landings on a road like it is the axle is very thin.

Greetings from New Zealand.

Hi Tail boom is not indestructable unfortunately. I had a bad nose in crash and the force of the impact snapped the boom right where the hole is for the GPS cable would go. Its a weak point i would reinforce the wood piece there and or do a few tape rolls at that point. Note not only did the foam snap but so did the inside wood reinforcement.

Hi Carlos / any other Penguin flyers...

I've got the M2815 motor which has a prop adaptor which ends in a threaded bolt with a nut. Wanting to use an APC 9X6 prop I had to bore out the inner ring of the prop. I did two this way and both are horribly unbalanced, ie: after screwing it on, the prop spins pissed because my drill opening must be off.

What have you guys done? I've that the 3 blade is not as good as an APC 9X6. Any way to bore the prop better, or is there an attachment that I could use that would fit the 9X6?

Any help appreciated!

Richard
