Robotnik - yeah I found that thread before but it all refers to windows unfortunately.

Grumpy - not 2S, but I'm using a 3S 2200mah Rhino lipo tx battery. Anything that fits a futaba 10C size bay will work... However the power connector is a 2S balance lead plug so you may need to make a custom solution on that front depending on what route you go.

I'm running a 1200mah 2s in my radio and it must get charged once a month if not less than that and I use it very regularly  :laugh:

is sticking a lipo in really an upgrade?

My 35mhz radio runs a 2500mah nimh AA pack and it won't puff up or die if I leave it on, is really easy to charge + I don't have to take it apart to charge it. Maybe i'm missing something but I just can't see any advantage.

Best thing I ever did with my current transmitter.. NiMh and NiCad's lose charge in storage, Lipo's don't... My old NiMH battery had to be charged every week, my Lipo once a month (if that).

Yup Ian got notice the day after I emailed him, remember in chat I said I was emailing him, the dilemma is.... play with tx or build tarot gimbal!!

He did say he had 50 this week, 50 next week and 50 the week after, email him again!!
