What's the Field of View on the 5.8 GHz 3-turn Helical?
How rigid is the coax, if i screw it into the diversity RX on my headset can i be confident it'll stay pointing forwards?

I'm trying to get some decent range on my Mini Talon on 5.8.  Is there any advantage to upgrading the TBS Triumph that I currently use on the airframe?

Hi mate
The beamwidth is approx 60 degrees and bandwidth from about 5790 to about 5980 so pretty wideband tbh
The coax is CLF200 ultra low loss coax and very stiff, nothing like RG316 so it'll stay in the position you bend it to, however if your screwing them in your sharks then the coax will be pretty short unless you want them longer
I can only comment on my skews and say they are the best (obviously lol) but needless to say my skews and helicals work perfectly together

Thanks for the quick response, unfortunately 60 degrees is too low for me to use on my flying field.  Perhaps when i upgrade to a antenna tracking ground station.

The IBCrazy 3-turn helical has ~120 degree beam width, is the reason for smaller beam width on yours because it's higher gain?

120 degrees ??? Not in any calculator I use, he must have a "special" calc lol
