If your into just multis, I would go for a skew with a 3 turn helical, my most popular order at the moment
Works really well with the diversity on the Skyzones

Im also looking out for some for a set of skyzones. Im guessing the skew will do fine for a mini quad flying close but im thinking about going a bit further with a fpv plane. 3 or 5 turn heli for the fpv plane??

Just joined and a complete fpv beginner but experienced flyer, advised to purchase your antennas.I have purchased the RC320 ism 5.8ghz 32 channel auto scan receiver and the Ts. 351 8channel . 5.8 V/TX.Just getting to grips understanding tunings but not confident enough to make a good informed decision yet so your recommendation would be greatly appreciated.The receiver states it`s RP-SMA jack as does the v/tx.Also told to go for skews on both.I will place my order on your advise and payment made as and when you request.My e-mail is  [email protected].ukThank you in advance Alex.

Hi Simon, I've been looking for helical antennas, and I hear you are the man for it! (Actually saw your antenna that Bruce reviewed on RC Model Reviews) I'm only a couple of weeks into using FPV (with a DJI quad) and have quickly found that my skew planar is not up to the distance I want. 

My plan is to use a helical with a the skew planar on a diversity receiver, and was thinking about a 5 or 6 turn helical (RH).  But, I notice your most popular helical seems to be a 3 turn.  If I'm looking to get about 1.5 to 2km max, is a 3 turn enough?

Can you let me know how to go about ordering one from you?

Welcome to the forum
If your only after 2k max then stick with a 3 turn, it'll be better by having a wider beam than the 5 but not as much dBi gain as the 5 but like you said 2k max and the 3 is perfect
