Yippee! Time to build a mini quad, 'leccy bits here ready, got batteries, esc's, motors, props (green, obviously) & KK2.0 board. Just need to sort out where the esc's are going and do something to common all the power together (maybe find some veroboard @ work?)

Keep me posted on the build Andrew as I'd like to know how you get on.

OK, I'll try and post some pics and stuff, as long as I don't have to document it like being at work LOL! (I spend my days doing exploded diagrams and drawings and messing with bits for seismometers)

Work: www.guralp.com

Any preshipping pics? I noticed someone else thought the black / green combination looked good!

Really interested in this. Anybody got a parts source for the props from hobby king?

Hobbyking don't have a great range of small props that seem to fit, however there are these http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__11314__5X3_Propellers_5Pcs_Bag_.html but the reviews on the site aren't great.

Sit the frame under a light or in a bright area for a while and then take it into a dark room. You'll notice the green glows :)

Mine is still in the box.

Will be at least a month before I get to put it together.  Have to get some cash for motors first!

Take a look at my kit-list on the initial post as I'll keep updating that and there are some links to some motors amongst other things.

Haha! You're right, the fluoro green is quite bright in darkness! :)
Arrived safely, just fell together!
Which end do you consider to be the front? The long end or the short end?
Also are you sure you used 40mm screws to hold it together? I found some 45mm ones and they're only just long enough with nylocs.
I couldn't tell from your previous pics how you dealt with printing the floor of the flight controller tray, now I know, so my next question is what should I glue it with? Is there an easily available solvent.

Just had a google and acetone or MEK appear to be solvents for ABS.....

Hi Andrew,

There is no "front" or "back" really as this is up to you and which of the camera or VTX (as these will almost definitely be at either end. If your VTx is longer then perhaps put that on the longer end.

Yes 45mm or even 50mm M4 bolts might be better. I'll update the description. I added these before I made up the legs.

I used good old ca (superglue) for the KK2 base and it seems to hold together nicely.
