Ha! even with all that grunt you only got a few more mph than us!

For flat running thats still the record mind...but...

The game is still very much on!!

Paul, your sky fun could well be good for another 25mph! get on it!!

I'm eyeing up new airframes for this challenge ;)

Angelos

Actually, the guys watching my video feed said it was 215kph which I estimated to be 120mph. But after doing the conversion properly it comes to 133mph. A respectable speed but still disappointing given my expectations. Some improvements are needed.

I think my best flat speed was about 107mph, which I repeated at the weekend flying with Ian.

Levelling off after a dive still only got it to 125mph so I think Angelos at 133mph flat is a huge difference for me to make up !

I think I will get another Roo kit and do something with the wings to get them super smooth for starters so they are really 'slippy', but an extra 30mph is a lot to catch up.

Well done Angelos, it may be down to Steve to chase you now.........

Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days lived

lets see some videos of this.

come on, an extra 30mph is easy meat if you get a hotter motor and packs... I say that with no real knowledge of stuff like this :D

and grats to Ang for his new FPVuk speed record... we do need a vid tho ;)

Coyote

Congrats Angelos, although a lot down on predicted speed its still the highest yet. Looking at all the weight and effort to squeeze that much more out im wondering what the next logical step would be to beat it.
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

Angelos

Unfortunately the first recording was over-written as I had many flights at FPV Bounce that filled the card. The first flight was not FPV anyway as I was still getting a feel for the model.

In the second flight (that was meant to be FPV) I got adventurous and decided to launch without the bungee. Unfortunately there was marginally not enough lift and one of the ailerons cracked as the control arm hit the ground. I am repairing it now and will attempt FPV flight this evening if all goes well.

That is such bad luck Angelos, really bad luck, really really bad luck

Sorry about that   ;D

(PK grabs the crown back off Angelos !)

Well, we seem to have a new reigning champion :)

Well done Angelos, that was and awesome run, twitchy doesnt come close to an apt description, love the rolls :)

it did look like you were diving for that speed but we'll give it to ya :D

I gotta get a flight recorder sorted so I can show my OSD speeds.
