Looking good! Yeah I guess laminating isn't hard, just time consuming.

It would be a bit fiddly anyway getting two battery leads into the equipment bay, you're better off having a lead with 2X XT60's in the battery bay. I've done that and find that the connector fits nicely between the batteries and provides enough pressure to keep the batteries in place:

Ordered mine this morning as a standby replacement for my FX61 which is looking a bit rough these days.

Hopefully most of my gear should transfer across,apart from maybe the motor.

I`ve never laminated a wing before,what kind of iron will I need,will it need to be a special one or can I borrow the wife`s? ;D

I use the normal house Iron, its a bit big and heavy, but works fine. Just make sure you put the laminate on the foam the right way round... adhesive side down.... otherwise it gets messy!

Sounds like a plan. The Falcon owners club meet at Mad Dogs, we now need a Venturi owners club  :D

Yes, I basically cut the top bit of foam away at the thinnest part just above where the spar goes, then hot glued them back together after I'd glued the bottom plate in.





That also means you can cut a section away for ESC cables that eventually go through the foam and leaves a nice flat top section:

Yup, tech has moved on a long way very quickly.

For info I glued the foam in the centre section and cut the foam as iPeel did.
