Hi, could anyone with one of these tell me what the internal width of the component bay is? I've had a look, but can't find any mention of it.

Thanks in advance!

Just placed an order for one! Looking forward to getting started. Is anyone using one of these with a pixhawk?

Kind of... I'm running a pix' using the VTOL branch. Bags of room for the pix' and all its accompaniments.

Ah ok, so I'm guessing the rough pid settings are likely to be fairly different then I guess?

I'm hoping I have space, although I may need to do some mods as I'm planning to fit a downward facing camera to this. Things could get pretty tight I think!

I assume you're intending to run APM:Plane anyway, I run the PX4 Autopilot code.

APM:Plane's autotune is great though, use that and it'll get you as near as damn it to the best PID settings.

ThunderstruK

Yeah I'll have to give that a go I think. Should be interesting since it will be my first time trying it.

i've built 3 of these all using apm 2.6 arduplane with minimosd.  i'll happily give you my pid's if you want.  currently running 2x3300mah nanopuffs.  1250kv turnigy 3642 motor with 9x6 folding graupner cam prop.  superb airframe, you'll love it.

Finally the weather's getting calm enough to stretch the capability of the Venturi. I reckon' she's got a few more KM in her...

Hi, Yeah that would be great if you could do that. I'd mainly like them to at least have it in the ball park, then I'll get it perfectly tuned for my setup.

First bit of footage from my flight Sunday. Got up early before the wind got too bad and the rain arrived.

Pleased with the results just need to sort the video now so I can get lower I think http://youtu.be/DHtE4N50DSE
