Less efficient when spinning, more efficient when not spinning.
My prop is always spinning!

ipeel, what type of spray paint did you use on the foam?

Just regular Halfords stuff, any acrylic spray paint should be fine mate.

Ok so I've just pushed the button on one of these now! Swapping out my Skywalker since it never gets used!

Need to decide on the power setup now though, is an inrunner motor recommended?

Buy this, looks perfect and a decent price.

Wahey Ewan! You and me, loch Lomond, formation flying... Deal?

Love my OS motor mate... A few pennies but worth it!
Sounds idyllic, bit of a road trip for me!

Looks good ipeel, may go with that!

A Loch Lomond version of mad dogs would be awesome! I know the perfect spot! :)

I had the same problem... but it made no difference tbh

Oh, that's to hold the lid in place at the front in theory, but I didn't use that approach. You're better off laminating the lid with extra film at the front and using that extra film to fix the lid to the frontside of the ply at the back of the camera bays to create a hinge.

See this post.

My plate is there (GoPro mount) but not doing anything.

The plate you do really need is a similar affair at the back of the gubbins bay, on mine that's got a velcro strap as has the back of the lid and this fixes the hatch in place.

Finished! Well just the wing tips to stick on (any suggestions?) And a config for Ruby from Jim.
It's worked out 300g lighter than before. Can't wait to try it!

Fantastic job mate, good work. I just stuck my winglets on with POR but yours may be a bit bigger than mine.

Are you maidening tomorrow? I was planning on going to the Barn Field in Olney as the weather looks pretty calm.

Brucey

Thanks, I've got a set of smaller ones too.
I will maiden tomorrow IF Jim gets back to me in time!
What field is that? The normal one in Olney?
