Might have found a cheap source for a correx/corroflute style material.

Mini z repair...

Going to make it a mini z3 if I can find something tough enough to make the centre section with...

I'm pleased with the look. I used 2 bits of the cheap material from wickes to make each fin.

Cheers

Mini zephyr. I had balance issues in its second flight because I took the möbius off. The crash wasn't too bad but it loosened all the spars so I had to strip it down anyway. So I thought mini z3 is in order. I just need to work out a way to fit a nose on it now.

Plenty of places that can be hollowed out later in too. Feels quite strong too...

yes I posted that on the first post... warning though it feels too flexible when you pick up an 8' sheet of the stuff. it flexes like paper. but when you cross laminate it the strength is better than my british standard wiggle test compared to 4mm Coroplast. not as stiff as foamboard, but then once that bends it is shagged.

a laminated piece 4 inches square weighs pretty much the same as a sheet of 5mm foamboard.

obviously for our purposes it should be pretty tough compared to paper laminated foamboard.

time will tell.

Yep sorry about that.  :)

i reckkon it would do work nice for a constant chord plank wing.. Might not even need a spar.. but I might try a tin wing with a carbon spar anway

What are  you using to glue it?
