I've just been messing with printing up some covers, but looks like Realacc are actually producing some proper injection moulded ones for it, so first test will be looking a bit rough and ready, and hoping that helical doesn't pull those sticky pads off !

That wire is messy, but I'd prefer not to open up the goggles and mod them to get it internal really - I'll sort out a way of covering up when/if they test out ok

Ordered the single side style one myself the other day. Looking forward to trying it out as my normal diversity set up is a bit of a pain with a separate reciever. The more faffing to set up, the less likely I am to use it. Covers now available on BG.

Had a few bits in the mail over the past few days including a GoPro lens for the hs1177 (doesn't fit all the cases, don't over tighten it or you can't remove it easily!). Not tried it yet but will have a fly later and see how it goes.

Nice - please report back on the single-seed one.  I was swayed over to the one rx in each bay by some reviews on the Furious-FPV vs the LaForge, but that's different hardware and firmware, so who knows.

I've ordered my covers now, but if it works nicely, I will have to think about getting that cable run internally.  So there's something to be said about both of them on one side that doesn't need the goggle opening up !

Yeah. Plus I'm thinking I may fit the trinity headtracker in the future too. It's often on sale at getfpv so I might pick one up next time I'm in the US.

Actually looking at the pic of the wire across the front, if you use some flat heat shrink and spots of hot or double sided tape, you can probably do a neat job on the exterior and save the risk of opening it up. You'll still look like robocop though, can't do anything about that. 😅

Yes, I think you may be right...In fact I still have a pristine JR 35mhz setup....I was thinking I could fly this alongside 1280mhz  vtxs....no problem....Not sure how it Failsafes though, or how I could test the range either...?

For example if I was to do that with my mfd AP it would be easy. Just set the Rx FailSafe to RTH then fly out and see when it kicked in. For example my 14 SG with r7008sb Rx is good for 3k at about 400 ft.

Do you have a link for the Baby Pixhawk and also the GPS RX...?.....Do you use a Minim OSD with it....or is one built in it?

Thanks m8....:)

Sure - this one was from the UK Ebay seller GoodLuckSell here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/122070875814?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

That GPS module is from an old crashed Quanum Nova Pro that was given by a friend - I tested it with a 3DR UBlox Neo 7, worked great with that too.

I will be using a MinimOSD with it, though I haven't set it up yet. Given that it's running near identical code to the big pixhawk, I'm not anticipating any issues.

It also has native support FRsky telemetry as it has the inverter and diodes built in. The software is still in development, but on an X4R it was sending back power, location and flight mode info :)

I use the Craft and theory telemetry interface (http://www.craftandtheoryllc.com/frsky-telemetry-cable-and-user-interface-for-pixhawk/) on my regular Pixhawks (Which encodes even more data into SPort than standard firmware), and they're sending me their Pixracer beta firmware too :)

I have a suggestion for a review for you!
