A toe in the water ..... my first quad.  Relatively cheap, about £75 ARF with a discount code from Banggood  .

I printed some bits for my work for a demo we were doing, and seeing the results they told me to go and buy a printer! I was being conservative but they told me I had a decent budget, so today this arrived -

A Raise3D N2+, absolutely stunning piece of kit, its huge! The build volume is massive, and it's so quiet and smooth in operation. Initial test prints are looking awesome, can't wait to stretch it's legs! Need to get some decent models to print out big! :D

I can't see you changing jobs anytime soon, with bosses that generous !!
You learn something new every day.

Yeah, it was a nice break from the absolute tedium that my actual job is at the moment! Stuck in documentation land at the minute and it's horrible! Hoping I get to actually spend some time using the thing now though, given I'm the only one with any idea how to use it! :D

I guess that's one of the perks of working for a massive company, they are quite generous when it comes to capital expense!

Sometimes it is easier to get a hundred thousand than it is five grand.

That looks like a useful bit of kit.  What are the build dimensions?

I've just a little HK Komet kit delivered.  Rocket powered FPV anyone?
Duct Tape and a Hammer.  A cure for all known mechanical problems.

Servo extensions.  You can never have enough can you, and I need some to wire up my Mini-talon.  What didn't turn up though is the 14AWG silicon cable to attach my xt60... so the 2 halves of the plane will stay detached for another day

30x30x60 which is slightly ridiculous! 60cm doesn't seem big until you actually see the thing, its massive! Really impressed with the quality so far, just been doing some test pieces.
