Hello all I fly in the aldershot area and looking for some fpv buds/clubs  to fly with

Heatlump

I'm in Haslemere. Have recently run into a couple of people who fly around these parts who have just started a facebook group to try and organise some meetups:
Not sure if you're already on there...

I'm in Fareham, I'd be interested in meeting up. there's a few of us that meet at a field near Warsash occasionally to practice.

Where's that then. I'm just up in Whiteley - always up for some flying

I'm in Chichester, don't have many regular flying locations. More a case of find a secluded field and fly

Hello,

I'm just across the border in Surrey, not too far from Aldershot.

Where do you normally fly? I would have thought Aldershot was a bit tricky with all the army land.

I normally fly in a field adjacent to North Camp station in Ash Vale, its a pretty solid spot, if you or anyone wants to join me sometime just say.

Cheers

I'm not a million miles away in Byfleet Surrey and sometimes fly at the old Wisley airfield just off the A3.
Alright me old cock sparrow chum, by crikey!
Roger, Roger. Do you have clearance Clarence for that v

Heatlump

I work in Woking, so could easily pop over to Wisley Airfield after work if you're ever around those parts in the evenings.

Unless you are also the guy that said "hey I know that wood" on YouTube the other day (who was called Paul) then why aren't we all going out flying.

Though I do find it amusing that I've never bumped into anyone around my way, given the lack of places to fly.  I did see someone flying a Phantom over the football pitches the day after the fireworks last year, but he wasn't FPVing

Sorry but I do a late shift at work, so don't finish till 10. Bloody typical!
Regards, Mark.

Nope I'm not Paul but I did have a Phantom for a short while  ;D I agree with the lack of places to fly (I'm in Titchfield common) how far do you travel to fly ? I'm finding myself driving twenty miles.. I'm currently trying to talk a land owner into lending me one of his fields which is private land so no Joe public about.. Then we can all go out flying  ;D

It depends what I'm flying.  I've been using my 250 a lot because it's just easy - I chuck it on the backpack and walk to the woods and the few fields around Whiteley, but if I want to fly a plane it's been a 40 min drive to the New Forest, or 25 mins over at Hayling.

It seems odd that finding a place is so hard given the apparent greenery everywhere if you look on google earth, but much of it is just very inaccessible.
