I attended Bardney yesterday, Saturday. A great day out, only made possible by the organisational skills of Chris (in Kabul) and the co-operation of the other Bardney Flyers Members - WHO COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE WELCOMING.

Bardney is a great example to all other bmfa affiliated Clubs. Their Members readily accepted that we were ALL sharing the same passion - TO FLY, albeit flying a variety of differing types.
On Saturday flown were FPV, Stunt planes, EDF jets, Wings, Towed Gliders and even Helicopters.

We all got on very well - and THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD BE.

Why any other bmfa clubs are 'sniffy' about FPV I really cannot imagine.

Bardney & Chris - you are a great bunch - I welcome any future chance to visit you again - if I lived nearer I would have joined on the spot.

A day to remember - especially seeing Spooky's My Flydream Tracker suddenly in mid flight turn 180 degrees away from the plane !
You learn something new every day.

You should be able to add 20 per post Mark

what it should do and what it does are two different things  :+ :+

I have a feeling Ian (Coyote) may be adding to this thread soon.
Nice to see you eventually mate, hope all ended well........
I'll be doing a write up over the next couple of days when I catch up with my TODO list that has slipped 2 days.

Another great day at Bardney! Quite a bit windier today but we got the Z's up in the end. Tracker still not playing ball, a few people seemed to be having GPS issues though so maybe it was just a bad location/day for GPS. The Eagle Tree boys didn't seem to be having any GPS probs though (I'm using EzOSD Team Black Sheep Edition).

A huge thanks to Chris (in Kabul), and all the other Bardney Club members for letting us come and play on their patch, it's a great club and has been an awesome weekend.

Given your last GPS position, the height you were at and the fact it was down wind.  I'd be looking in the circl

Steve that's two but crack shots now :)

Very good to meet everyone today - despite no flying for me in mega wind [still taking it easy], it was great to meet you all. Was a day of ups and downs to be sure. Nice to mix with the club guys as well.
