Ritewing Drak Multibuy?

I'm interested in the Drak, but will likely buy my own later on.

I would happily pay into a multibuy to share shipping costs.

Not really interested in buying the Drak, but it looks cool though.

Even at a discounted shipping rate, Ritewing wings are usually too expensive for me so for that reason... I'm out.

Ain't those molded in Germany?
If so, why can't they just ship from there?!

Exactly this...
surely it would be cheaper too... we place the order with Chris... he sends the order to the German factory, who send them directly to us... no customs, no fuss.

I like that idea, if we can get them direct shipped from Germany for a cheap price then I'm in too.

Hi guys, only the epp molded pieces  are made in Germany.  Its not kitted  there. Let me see how many I can get in a box tomorrow.   I did have camera pockets molded  but pulled them off at the last minute.  There are too many ways to modify this foam with ease. I saw the foxeer cam come out a few days before the final go ahead to the molder.  Even the mapping cameras are all changing so fast I didn't make any holes in the bottom of the plane. It takes no effort at all to make it quick jig to slice out a hole in it. You can do this with about any type of camera you want wherever you wanna put it on this airframe. This is so much more of an awesome plane than you think, wait till you see it up close. I've taken it to a few FPV events, and UAV shows, the people have seen it are so dumbfounded at the price being as cheap as it is for what you get. For example you have the z3 kit for 200 ,this is way way more aircraft than the z3. It's handling is so good it's mind blowing.  It's so durable you could drop kick it to launch it. I will have some videos coming in the next week or so, I finally got the vector  dialed in yesteday so I will be mounting camera gear into this aircraft pretty quick. I already have it pre wired for a camera it's just a matter of getting it mounted. The price will be going  up soon.

Really looking forward to seeing more vids Chris, it's a stunning bit of kit, very tempting !

What I was always curious about, is why someone from outside of EU buying the gear in EU don't pay the tax part, but I'm yet to buy something from US and get the tax deducted from the full price.
Do they have different tax system or something?!

Because the company moulding them would have to register as a distributor and pay extra taxes which pushes the price up. Now as I have a distribution company I could push them out from Berlin without a problem but I don't know if the designer would be willing to play ball. It all depends on his terms and conditions.

I'm willing to organize a group buy again like I did on the Z3. Or if anyone else fancies it, I'll be willing to pitch in and buy one or two frames.

It all depends how many can go in a box. It may not save that much money with the added size of the Drak.
