Personally not too keen on seeing videos where people get dive bombed

Mine was unintentional and not done for fun. It wasn't dive bombing either they just couldn't hear the motors for the high wind.

I don't think any of your posts lately have been fun, useful or good PR for the forum either but you don't see me start a bitching thread about it.

I'm just doing what I think is necessary to keep enjoying my hobby. Nothing personal. At least on my side. Some people seem to get it. And those that don't probably never will   :laugh:

I don't like miniquad videos, I personally think they're more dangerous and have the potential to cause more damage (to persons or property) than a MTD flying over a near deserted beach... but you don't see me starting a thread about it do you?

This thread cracked me up. Ian is the most meticulous builder and pilot I have met/seen, online or otherwise and he goes to great lengths to make sure his kit is running perfectly. Suggesting he was intentionally dive bombing people is just pure rubbish.

I understand that we have rules and regulations and that 50m is the specific distance you must keep away but in my opinion what is shown in the video is the same as doing 75mph on the motorway. Technically illegal but in the grand scheme of things it's really nothing to be worried about.
