I commented on your thread because I had ordered this very plane... then literally about 10 minutes later the doorbell rang and it was the postie delivering it :)

Isnt it better to get a wing made of epp rather than epo as alot stronger.
It all depends.

EPO is moulded so the designers have more flexibility when designing the thing, also you don't need to laminate EPO as it's stiff enough already and the surfaces are nice and smooth.

EPP is just block foam and is cut to shape with hot wire to create the airfoil shape. EPP wings don't generally differ that much in terms of basic design, even the blunt nose ones are all pretty much the same basic concept. Once you get to around the 1m wingspan mark, EPP really needs to be laminated to add strength and rigidity.

I know :) :)  I bagged it as soon as I noticed that :) :)

The 30 minute build time even included me changing out their motor and ESC for a SunnySky 1400kv motor with 8x5 prop, and a 4S capable 40A ESC.

with the dome nose, but my runcam2 hd hasn't arrived yet, so I'll be sticking with the foam nose for now and I'll be taping them on too... don't trust the magnets.

What video transmitter size do you use

Billy_boy_2010

if it's your first wing then the smallest lightest thing possible. Hornet. Maybe the HK tek sumo.

I fly my HK Bonsai every time I go out - absolutely love the little thing!
Just about unbreakable, dead easy to launch, vertical climb, pretty aerobatic too, and land it in your lap.
;D

Yes, Sony HADII board cam on the front, lightweight 200mW 5.8G TX on top over the COG.
2S 950mAH Lipo gives 8 mins of cruising or 5 mins of aerobatic hooning.
Weighs 220 grams AUW.

Could you send me a picture of your setup

Will do this eve when I'm home from work.
And it's got too dark to fly....
