It makes you wonder why the "Big wigs" are so desperate for us to stay in.... I think it's them who stand to lose things, probably more than we know.

Most people will agree that the EU governance has flaws - to such an amount that:-

- The people wanting to stay in believe that it is better to stay in and achieve change from within.

- The people wanting to leave believe the changes needed will only be achieved by leaving and therefore having our own control of cocking up our future, rather than letting unaccountable EU civil servants do it.

Me - I do get to occasionally meet my MP and tell him what his party is doing wrong (IMO). I have never seen anything publicised locally re 'Meet your EMP', so have never had an easy chance to waste my breath talking to him / or her.

PS
Can anyone tell me 'exactly' what 'out' means? Is it just out of the European Parliament or also out of European High Court control ? or also out of Free Trade alliances.

Staying in means (this is easy) - ever increasing centralised control of politics, defence, trade, regulation, currency. This is what the European Parliament and civil service want. Make no mistake - All politicians, parties and civil servants desire above all else - more power. More power = more importance = more grandeur, more status, more money, more influence. Politics as always been based on this.

You learn something new every day.

Personally, I'm hoping that VATMOSS becomes a thing of the past. It's ridiculous.

When you step into the voting booth, stop and consider for a moment how they just swatted Call me Dave away with his pathetic so called "Reforms"....It was all a prearranged play act anyway..
.We are powerless within the EU, they will draw us ever further in and by 2020 force the Euro upon us along with a load of other crap none of us want.
Im retired, so its not going to  affect me a great deal, but if I was in my 30s, I would be very worried about staying IN.....Im worried for my Grandkids.....VOTE....OUT.

Democracy demands that the people have the ability to remove the people who govern them.

As part of the EU we the people do not have that ability.

We need to be our own country,  yes it will take a lot of hard work at first but it will benefit our country in the long term

We could always adopt the French approach - stay in the EU but do your own thing anyway. Then when anyone questions this approach, simply shrug your shoulders. Works for them.  :P

Cameron was already lobbying big business leaders 11 weeks before his useless re-negotiations with the EU to speak out about a possible Brexit. It's one big con, It doesn't matter how old you are as when TTIP becomes a reality it will effect everyone's lives hence why he phoned up obama to ramp up the project fear rhetoric. Kiss your NHS goodbye as we know it.

Agreed, I just dont get how people in this country are seemingly oblivious to how little power we have over important issues which will have great impact on every aspect of our lives. As we type, some liberal idiot is busy writing even more crap into the ECHR nonsense to provide even more protection for Pond Life such as the Albanian MURDERER  we have housed in a new 4 bed house with all benefits and his girlfriend is with him...a prosthetic leg and even DLA...!!!..2K a month they are costing us....PLUS Legal Aid to fight deportation.....He's a Murderer FFS...AND hes an Illegal who lied telling the authorities he was from Kosovo....We can't deport him because they might put him in an unsuitable Jail in Albania....Came here in a Van through Calais, they still dont search every vehicle.....Rant over....I need to check my BP....:(

Apologies if its off topic...

I've just spent 3 days going through the new EU directives on ROHS REACH and the new EU regulations for weighing equipment.
It's an absolute joke I can tell ya! I'm 100% out on this matter because I don't believe in job creation for 'fat cats' and I want our border protection to be BORDER PROTECTION.

Bring back LB and not KG, Inches and not MM and who gives a monkey's how far a KM is in miles? Thank God that we never adopted the Euro and...... WHERE IS MY REMOTE CONTROL FOR THE TV.
Sorry, got side-tracked there :D

If you are like me and happen to,live near an area that is swamped with people from countries with standards of education, security, health, social awareness, morality, family planning, criminality, much lower than the UK.
Next to People who come to this country for what they can get out of it short and long term and realise that the UK system is a soft touch compared to previous Eastern Block countries they are leaving, but are prepared to send money back to so they can return and build houses etc.
Who have children and grandchildren in local schools where 50 plus languages are spoken.
Who go to the local A&E and feel as if they are in a foreign country.
Who's aged relatives have their life savings removed so they can have safe care at the end of their lives, whilst we as a country are forced to give free shelter to any odd person who can get here.
These are the people who will vote out.
I don't believe the spin that says we will be worse off than we where after WW1 or 2. Or the Rubbish about business leaving these shores, so what, who needs fat cat bankers or Amazon, etc. Others will come.

I'm in for the common market the UK voted for...
I really would prefer to be in, but upon as much of a review as can determine with all the real information around I have to say that what being asked to give up is too much...
I'm definitely out now.

Corbyn - sly and carefully not saying much to avoid losing votes.
Cameron - fair enough we know where he stands but his actions to steer people into remaining are just unbelievable.

How many people out there even know who the leaders of the EU are with the real power. I didn't until started looking into it. And since then its clear most our our MP's and leaders don't...

The in campaign is using massive fear tactics to sway the vote - don't fall for it. They know it works. If people are not sure they stick with the devil they know.
Do your research and then decide....
