Hi jt,

the bobbing up and down on RTH is related to gain. Have you got a gain knob setup? if yes you can tweak it during RTH to find out the right number.

RTH gain is set separately in the Vector GUI.

As FlyingRock says, use your gain knob to find out which number it flies well on in 2D mode. Then use that number in the RTH gain field in the software.

 Cheers chaps, didn't think of the gains as it flies fine in 2d no hold, it bobs up and down in 2d with hold though. I do have the gains on a knob so will have a twiddle with it :D

Had another go on mine last night and the maiden will be next week or the weekend if I can get the antenna's on the VNA by tomorrow. With pan and tilt she's 1.7Kg with a 5800mAh 4s  :overexcited:

Mines 1.7kg too and flys like a dream, doesn't feel clumsy or heavy at all  :D

   Makes you wonder how good the big talon is doesn't it........ :laugh:   Hopefully if the sales of these have been really good from banggoods eu warehouse, as obviously we are not the only foam buying idiots in europe, they will stock more planes here!!!

Yea loads - straight out the back of my house is a 2km long field, I'm right in the middle of nothing but countryside really. Very flat and empty though.

I found a mystery motor in its packaging I just remembered.
I know it's an ntm, I'll just need to see what kv etc it is.

Ordered it months ago.
Will check it in the morning.
