X-UAV Mini Talon

I want to keep my Mini Talon fairly light.....So, Im thinking of using a Multistar LiHv 4000mah 4S.......Will it balance ok with this "small" Lipo in it?

Im using a fairly lightweight motor...?

Im thinking I can fit two in parallel later if I need to, but to start with just one to make a hand launch easier....Even with just one, I think it will cruise for 30 mins easily.
  Having watched Simon 9 launch and do 40kms in dead calm with 15 amps onboard, it should be easy right..?

Anyone used these Multistar LiHV Lipos before....15.20V 4S?....My charger says it will do them ok?

What sort of flight times are you achieving with the 8000mAh 4s packs mutley?

Hey Andy, I've not really had a play with duration as its all been distance and it needs a different sort of flying, as a guess I would say an hour if careful with my setup.
These Multistars are about 80 trams more than the 5200 I use (from my Z3) and you can hardly know the difference.

Has everyone trusted the moulded hinges or Been taping them? They don't look the prettiest ever made....
I went to the trouble of cutting the surfaces out from my X-UAV One & installing proper hinges. Don't think I will go that far with the MT but I have plenty of Blenderm on hand to reinforce.

I have left mine as is. But may laminate it, at which point I will cut and replace them.

Mine are left as they come from the factory.  I am expecting the hinge to fail at some point, so when it starts to look ropey, I'll cut them out and tape them back in place....

So far, they have been fine though...
