Dreadful after sales service from this company. I will not be using them again after only one purchase.
Any recommendations for some good companies who can supply FPV gear would be gratefully received.

SnoozeDoggyDog

I live 5 mins from this place and still dont use them, that should speak volumes.

Weird, they used to be okay - I never had any problems with them at all.

But thanks for signing up to the forum specifically to make that post, lol....

For the cost of a £2 antenna for an EzUhf receiver they have lost hundreds if not thousands
of pounds worth of my custom which I will now take elsewhere.

flybywire

Funny, I had similar 'after care' from them some years ago, the old 'we've got your cash now f*** off' scenario.

Old habits and all that, dejavu etc etc..

You have two posts and you come on here slating a company?

Go away.

Whether they are good or rubbish you still don't have the right to rubbish them on a public forum.

There's only so rubbish a company can be when supplying a £2 item. I don't care if you bought something, the item didn't arrive, and they refused to refund/replace. They still don't deserve such negative publicity.

Your experience doesn't sound unique but your reaction isn't reasonable either.

I would request that a mod removes the company name from this thread until the OP becomes a respected member of the forum.

I have every right to moan and will continue to do so. I gave them my money and in
return get a poor service. The number of posts is irrelevant. Anyone buying from them
just hope your goods are ok because if not you stand a good chance of being ripped off.
Oh and by the way the purchase was for an EzUhf receiver around £50 with one of the
antennas faulty which they would not replace. Poor customer service in my book and should
be make public to warn other potential customers.
ps firstpersonview excellent service.

FPVSteve

What do you mean the antenna doesn't work though .. they're hardly complicated beasts, they simply screw onto the receiver.

Just between you and me, the supplied antennas are usually replaced by dipoles anyway because their performance isn't exactly lauded around these parts...

No you bloody well don't.

The number of posts is entirely relevant. If you had been here for years, had lots of posts and were a respected member then your opinion and experience would have weight and value. But you're just a self important fool who has joined purely to moan and try to damage the reputation of a small company.

Anyway- your opinion and experience means nothing. It has no weight or value. My money is you're an idiot who doesn't know what he's doing and is blaming the equipment.

Sod off. Go and spend your millions somewhere else and keep it to yourself. We are not interested.

My ordering with them has been fine

3 orders this year starting in February (vtx then esc's then camera in August), all processed and posted out quick and good email notification of progress.

Wow.

Of course he as the right to bash a company publicly, what a ridicules statement, but i always urge people to contact the company and see how they put the issue right first. Companies i'v felt felt neutral on ordering from previously have turned into my go to place for certain items due to how they have handled issues with orders, Wheelspin Models being a prime example.

If you contact them and they mess you around, don't reply or wrongly refuse a refund then start a PayPal and discuss it publicly, and the best thing about a public forum is that Quadcopters can chime in at any time and tell there side of the story or try and put it right.

As for the whole "You have two posts and you come on here slating a company?" thing, it's just a bit of a dickish thing to say, it doesn't matter if you have 1 or 1,000 posts, you still get the 'right' to post on here what you like (as long as its along the lines of the forum rules), whether you personally decide to take what he says with a pinch of salt due to the fact he hasn't posted much is up to you.

I, like PKSurfing have had good service from Quadcopters.co.uk on many occasions but to be fair have not had experience of their after sales service.

Not sure it is appropriate for a commercial retailer to comment in support of someone who would appear to have joined solely to bash another retailer....
Ey-up!

mutley2

All viewpoints are valid but to be so negative from the get-go is not the way to introduce yourself to this community, smacks of an agenda after falling out with a retailer and very little to do with FPV.

As I've already mentioned I've had poor service from the retailer mentioned. I can mention names but I won't. I live so close to them I can order and walk up for it .... but I chose not not. But I realise not every company gets everything right 100% of the time. And I can usual find much better prices elsewhere pretty much all of the time.

Thems the apples .... Take'em or leave'em
