Excellent, glad to hear it went ok and was uneventful  :yahoo:

Iwan Canobi did you find the prop noise more with the centre? When compared to other wings?

Yeah it is a bit noisier probably, at certain throttle levels it seemed to be louder so there's obviously some frequencies that are worse than others. Nothing major though, wings are always going to be a bit noisy.

Looks great iwan.

Did you feel it's max weight limit is a 3000 4s lipo? The airfloil seems relatively thin so perhaps it's not the type of wing which loves being loaded up with battery??

I think it could carry more, but I'm not sure I would want to load it up more. I think it was designed as a sloper originally, so it is a thin airfoil.

It feels nice and agile to me just now, and it still does have a decent glide, but I think you can feel that it would get a bit dulled with more weight on it.

Interesting- thanks man. Perhaps not quite what I'm after then. A thicker airfloil wing maybe 50" would be ideal for me. EPP.

What is it you're looking for? Sounds like a Z2 really?

Z2 would be perfect but not that crappy fragile foam!

And ritewings are so expensive! Starting to get used to the banggood approach of £40 for an airframe!

If you want a wing just for distance then the Venturi or Falcon would probably be better suited. With the centre section you have plenty of room for big batteries. (I just don't think it is the ultimate strength wise).

I was looking for something I could build tough, dodge in and out of gaps and survive the odd encounter with a tree. The Genesis is proving perfect for this as I've crashed it plenty!  😁

I loved my falcon but it's a bit small. And I never quite got on with the venturi. But big plus I agree they aren't strong. Really I want an EPP Z2!

What about something from CrashTestHobbies then? They build their wings tough and have some big wings on there as well.  I've not ordered from them but did have a chat with the owner who said they only declare the cost value of the contents so you're less likely to get stung at customs

Flies pretty good with one wing tip it seems  :)  youtu.be/89eIQU246bs

Awesome chasing, nice work! Was that a calm day? After a few flights on mine I'm finding it really doesn't like the wind. With 15mph wind mine was getting bounced around all over the place and was really hard to fly low. It's super easy to launch and is fairly efficient but the stability is disappointing.

This was last Friday. Weather was not calm maybe 5-10 mph wind. I've found it pretty good in wind overall. How's your cg, I've got mine about 5mm forward of the manual
