Being totally new to FPV I am looking forward to the day and meeting you all. Get some ideas and look at stuff before I get my hand in my pocket. Will not be flying, only looking and having a natter.

It will save signing in on the day and will flash up any issues before the event such as frequency or mobility issues. We can then all have an awesome day.

YOU WILL NEED A SPOTTER when flying FPV but if you do not have one do not worry there will be more than enough of us there to help you out I am sure.

If anyone has any questions or concern please let me know and I will do my best to sort.

There are loads of Hotels nearby the event and again if you are not sure just ask.

Hi guys,

Quick question for you fine folk, is insurance required if you intend to fly? I'm looking forward to just soaking up the sights but I do have a couple models I could bring... it'll be LOS outside as i doubt my Roo Jet and ST model Blaze (not flown this since I put a 40a ESC and 10x7 prop on it) will be much use indoors.

it's a little, erm... fast.

To be honest I'm worried to take to the skies, I've over 100 hours now on my sim and a bakers dozen successful flights but thats all the flying I've done. 

No worries if it is imperative, I'll come along for the crack.

Erm in a word your are responsible for your actions on the day. If you cause an incident and you are not insured in a case which requires it I am sure you may end up in the preverbial dog do!! But that's not going to happen now is it?!?

I will not be checking insurance but please do not kill anyone as graves take ages to dig and do not crash into the school as it is not even a year old yet!!!

Oh and get that plane flown!!! What can possibly go wrong?!?!?

I am sure there will be people there to help and advise plus even test fly / trim it out for you.

Sweeeet! Better get the lipo's charged, field repair kit stocked and the ol ST Blaze dusted off then. it's been hung from my ceiling since Feb! I'll bring it all along see how I feel on the day. Doncaster for a 9am start is gonna be a wounder!  :P

hi all, i still up for it. i just tried to fill the form in and it won't submit without rc/vid info. i'm not flying 'cos i've been to buisy with W.R.G. to finish my quad. and there's only the two of us, so no contact number if we're both there.
