that's a top draw vid of the day, love the bit up with the paragliders.

i've had a zed build which stalled a couple of months back, but watching that, makes me really want to get it finished and in the air.

That's what we're here for, help & encouragement - if you need either & we'll do the best we can.

Think we need to start a FPVUK Zed owners club lol. ;)

Yeah, get it finished and in the air. You won't be dissapointed. They are a great plane to fly both line of sight and FPV. Some say they're not strong enough. I say just don't crash it! Something I'm finding hard not to do. :goofy:

+1 to that mate, they're built to fly not crash - as are all full size aircraft (to a large extent), if it were the other way round they'd never get off the ground!

Cool man, I might put another order in for one to see what it looks like, should only be about £10-£15 or somit.

im glad ya got the plane back dude with the gear on board
iv just kitted out the zagi with fpv gear and its ready for some fpv action

it was a truly epic day and watching the footage back some fantastic z action

where's the next weekend z action packed day going to be then

what  ground station set-up are you using? pan/tilt trackers or just cloverleaf/spw?

my build has (in the box waiting for me) the irc long range vtx with a tinytelemetry for a ground station tracker.

i've also got a Ruby but waiting for the Ruby osd module to become available.

where are the Z's available to purchase from?

You can buy them direct from Ritewing in the states or from desireRC, plus there's a place in holland I think too.

I got eagle tree eagle eyes diversity tracker with rmrc pan tilt gimbal (that I mod'ed) & x2 immersion rc UNO 5.8 vrx's with 16dbi patch & my homemade skew (TeamFTP) uses these as well with good results (made him some)

where are the Z's available to purchase from?

Got mine from simon at www.desireRC.co.uk

Was not "as cheap" as what you can get them from the USA but when you factor in the waiting for weeks for delivery and then the bandits in customs stinging you and add the parcelfarce charges it makes more sense to buy from the UK

Also Simon at desireRC is great.....

They are a great plane to FPV with.
