You use a text to speech program on your computer - easy on a mac!

Then just use a program to convert your speech file to correct format & call it the right name for system sounds & whatever you like for user sounds

I use acapela box

Lots of different voices to try, and pretty cheap (but not as cheap as free, granted).

I tried a few txt to speech sites, it seems I have to pay for all the 'good' ones unless anyone knows a good freeby ?

Some pretty good english accents. I use Bridget.
You need to set up recording so you can record the output direct into Audacity, or whatever sound editing software you use, then maybe add a bit of compression.

A tip that improves the 'naturalness' of some commands: Add a comma between words and it can give a more natural inflection and slower delivery....so instead of 'camera one' you type 'camera, one'
