you got the module slot on the back - get a spektrum module and use your old receivers. i think they are around £75.

MarkLincs

It says, 3 times 2.4 range.

Does that mean this is putting out much more than 60mw or whatever the regular 2.4 modules usually do?

And I'm surprised at how many are interested in this because most FPV'ers seem to have decent TX's anyway.

What is so special about this TX compared to say my FF9 Super?

Coyote

100 mw is the legal limit.

The reason for me personally is that it will have much more features and flexibility of a FF9 for example at a fraction of the cost. It's firmware can be tailored to suit my exact needs and not limited to a brands conception of what I need.

Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

Well, lots of things really:

- Super flexible mixing (beats hands down anything on the market)
- 16 Channels out of the box (expandable to 32 (!))
- Additional JR module slot (e.g. the new clip in EZUHF)
- Affordable telemetry modules
- Receivers come with analog RSSI out
- Customizable Voice out
- USB port for updates and programming
ect.pp.

MarkLincs

I'd not be rushing out to get one

Quite happy with my 12FG it does everything I need, I'd not change it.

My only upgrade would be an 18MZ but no way could I afford it!

I'm sure you can change it, you could have "Alreeet Steve" or something :)

Just a slight concern about that 2.4 antenna that's built in.  Isn't this going to screw you up if you add a 2.4 module - 2 x 2.4 antennas in close proximity isn't a good thing is it ?
