Please stop spamming the thread, and give people a chance to reply! He probably won't give the plans as then you could print them and make money from his design in India, it's just unlucky he's in the UL and you aren't.

He may not care about it and give them but if I was in his position I certainly wouldn't!

My brothers K-Quad has just flown, (quick hover in the office at lunchtime). HK 2211-2300Kv  motors, 5 x 4.5 3 blade props, 10A Turnigy plush ESC's, 3S 1300mAh NanoTechs and KK2.1, no FPV gear as yet. Hovers a tad under 1/2 stick and has significantly more pop than mine, motors get warmish so maybe a little over propped.

I have mine built now . . . KK2.1 FC, Turnigy 1811 3800kv Motors, Turnigy Plush 10A ESC, GemFan 5030 Props with 2S 1300 & 1600 Lipo's . . . can anybody share their KK (2.1) setup as a starting point for me ?

Hello all,

Im still struggling with getting Black filament. After trying two other providers this month, im still not happy with the Black prints for the base. I'll keep you all informed as to orders etc separately as always.

It might be that, but my other black was fine. Of course the filament is different so its finding the correct settings for use with this type of filament. Im getting there now, as I have a base printed so happy days :)

Well i finally found out why those turnigy motors didnt give me enough thrust,it was the HQ props.

Had some rcx motors on another quad with the same props and lack of thrust,changed to gemfan 5x3 and wow,
hovering at 50% throttle instead of 60%.

Still awaiting more 1811 motors from hobbyking,hopefully next week then i can get my gold K-Quad up and running again.

Hi Neil,
Black and gold K-Quad arrived as promised, quick assembled pic on my desk as usual! Now just waiting for the motors/ESC/props from MyRCMart, they're a bit slow to ship, 10 days or so from order to ship tracking shows them here in the UK.
