OK hear is the madden test flight, first thing this morning, thanks to all that gave advice on this little bird, much appreciated, it flies pretty good on full throttle, some dodgy landings at first, over all it looks promising, FPV flight hopefully at the weekend at the FPV meeting.
looking forward to that, train all booked. :D

FPV Fox test flight

Good maiden Gordon.
Definitely likes to fly fast and need to keep some speed up in a turn or it just drops a wing and spirals to the ground.

Try a big wing version sometime as mine will fly slower than that, no probs.

Great fun little birds and you just can't hurt them !

Maybe I'll try my spare fuze with a set of homebrew wings and pusher motor/prop....

Nigel.
You're only jealous 'cos the voices aren't talking to you  :D

Nice plane Gordon - might have to build myself one of those!

One question - have you got diving boots on in the vid?  :D

Hi Ant

The plane is a little beaut, I took it out again tonight in the wind, I wanted to see what it would cope with, it was shaking that ass, but was good fun.
Ow, I was wearing soggy Vans, I watched the hole vid to see what you meant, couldn't see my feet, lol or are you talking about my Cornish bounce.

Hi Ant

I'll be happy to make you the parts, just let me no when you won't them. I see what you mean now about the boots, I didn't think there was any sound on the video, the GoPro was in its sealed case. lol

Thanks to all the positive response, for this little bird, it has been FPV flown by a couple of FPV pilots from this forum, at this weekends meeting, and myself, and today I gave it a go up on the Black Heath hear in London, flying with the big kite surfers, bit windy, but its great fun, I have to soars some sort of DVR to record the flits, as soon as I do I will posed one.
regards G :)

Similar setup to my mate, although he has a folding prop as he kept breaking them in landings :P

well her it is, I'm afraid the DVR was rubbish quality, and I spent most of my time looking were I was and not crashing when I kept loosing the picter, :o add a helping of wined and the howl experience may mack you sick, I have ordered a new DVR and I have been studying the area so I now were I am, and of cores it is my third sort FPV flight, hopefully the next flight will be smoother, play at your own risk, it could cause vomiting.
